I love Wayne Dyer. His teachings were limited because he was in the physical form of a male body. If he had been in female form, some of his teachings would have been different. For example, "You can't give away what you don't have," is not necessarily relevant for females who are pregnant and become mothers. A woman can not have much love for herself and still be able to love her child. And in the process of giving away love to her child, she learns to give love to herself. It's the paradoxical effect of being in another form and having a different experience which also can result in offering a different kind of wisdom. Thereby, many "new age" platitudes are incomplete because they don't offer the other side of the coin, so to speak.
