His Holiness the Dalai Lama made a short visit to the Buddha Smriti Park in Patna, India this week where prayers were chanted to bring in the New Year and he also took part in planting a tree in front of a statue of Buddha in the region.
He gave a brief message for the world to media and general advice for 2017. He also spent some time speaking with Tibetan pilgrims and local politicians.
