Can you do an audiobook of your novel?

@kiranali5610 says:

That is very true

@mukesh.dhimar says:

Just what I needed. I'm really going to try and put this in practise.

By the way, I absolutely love the music at the end.

@saxa21 says:

Very similar to Epictetus.

This is a great channel you’ve got here, and it’s one that everyone should see. It’s like treatment for the everyday stresses of the world. I’m currently reading Stoicism for Inner Peace and I’ve just purchased The Urge: Fall of a Stoic, not only because I’m looking forward to the content, but also to show support. In a world filled with division, stress, pettiness, hatred, and ignorance, it’s refreshing to see someone teaching a way to find the calm in the storm.

@garyhynes says:

You did it again. I must really get some ancient Chinese literature.

Once we are able to except that we don't own anything in this world and that everything is on credit, automatically we become less interested or bothered about, pursuing endless goals, or successes and failures in our lives, we need to remember that the more we gain, the more we have to lose in the long run, everything has to balance itself out, because we can't tread water forever.

I read Lao Zu in high school and enjoyed it. However, now that I'm in my 30s with a career, a wife, kids, and debt, I now see his work as imperatively transformative. Thank you for reminding me 🙏

That's beautiful Thank you ! I once took some Lsd and spent the day exploring Warrington Beach in the south Island of New Zealand. I remember so clearly finding the most beautiful rock pools on this beach and possibly the whole world. These rock pools were filled with the most beautiful clear water, amazing reflective sea shells and incredibly multi colored rocks and pebbles. It was in this moment I was taught and or learned or realized that "the kingdom of heaven is within". I also remembered putting both my hand into this rock pool amongst the multi colored sea shells and thinking I want to make this into a meme image that I was indeed the richest man on earth and that all the worlds abundance and riches would never compare to this moment. Sometimes I get a similar experience like recently when I was working on an orchard in the morning during the middle of winter during a hard frost. But as the sun was rising and the ice started to melt that the fruit trees were also covered in Diamonds and that the ground under the fruit trees was also covered in multi colored diamonds. The sun turned the melting ice crystals into dewdrops and within these dew drops when the morning light shined through these dew drops I could see all the colors of the rainbow within these dew drops ( Indra's net of jewels )That morning was no LSD but I do remember having a little cannabis with breakfast as that helped with some aches and pains and did help with motivation to go and work. Always remember the kingdom of heaven is within. No amount of material gain will ever compare to it. The kingdom of heaven is not something you can obtain but rather something you wake up to. Thanks brother love your work keep going ! Your work will inspire the future. The greatest currency on planet earth , is the affect you have on others !

"Having PhD is not enough, we also want a six-pack, perfect marriage, running marathons, …" – as someone with PhD who wants all these things, that hit hard.

Nothing has changed in 2000 years. The Lao-Tsu society seemed to have been under stress also. Chasing the dollar and climb the societal ladder.

@TrivoMarjanovic says:

How can you be content with yourself if you are born broken? I suffer from borderline syndrome and this is how I view myself and my place in the world. I have all the knowledge, but I don't feel it.

@emmawatts2290 says:

Thank you and congrats on your book.
