A remarkable man who has set an example that we all should follow.
We must be the change we wish to see in this world. Mahatma Ghandi, Abraham Lincoln was once asked what is his religion, He replied I qoute; When i do Good i feel Good, when i do Bad i feel Bad. K
Its not a bad introduction. However, the other Buddhist traditions are not entirely frank in explaining their differences from the Tibetans. Hearing what they say it could sound like whatever differences they have are no more than the means for a competition for influence. That's pretty polite and Buddhist I think.
