24 years for me with my covert narcissist. Didn’t realize he was one till spiritual eyes opened. Him nothing his whole family are clueless spiritually mom dad brother and 2 sisters. I was called crazy to sensitive to emotional. Emotional abuse is crazy cause they want you to believe it’s our fault. 2 kids together so that makes it hard. Our 11 year old son is like me so I am protecting him. My husband plays the victim. I have turned the tables on him with silence treatment he says he doesn’t want to play my game I said I’m just showing you what you have done to me for 23 years. He says he will change I believe he is just going to love bomb me again. It’s like talking to a toddler. He thinks sex is love I said love is so much more than just sex. It’s all about his desires. I see the pattern I’m not playing this anymore. He threatened me to leave or I need to be more loving to him. He said I know the kids will pick to stay with you and I’ll have to pay child support and alimony. I just want peace love and respect as I give him. I don’t believe he will change cause he says he is not a narcissist and he’s parents were great and he has no trauma from kid hood. I said we all have kid hood trauma. I’m lost in what to do. Thank you for sharing and caring. They always twist and flip it back on us never their fault.

We did the grayrocking and it brought me no help it got worst and then we didn’t separation in the home that go worst!
So now I asked him to move out and he is this weekend!

@PSUJIM83 says:

This goes for the Narcissist Wife as well! I'm living that hell. I loose financially the most and fear for my daughters. But I can't stand being around her any longer so I stay away from home as much as possible. Gray rocking leaves me angry as there is no response from her. She clearly has deep childhood trauma, abuse, shame. Her addiction is constantly distracted on the internet and never addresses my needs which I have clearly spoken to her for years.

@arethareid9208 says:

Grey rooking is great when you have decided to plan an exit and has removed your heart and emotions.

@jayoldsmith7629 says:

A real narc will never change because they have a personality disorder hard wired into them. They may be able to moderate their behaviour to obtain fuel from you which is purely self serving for the narcissist. They are incapable of love, they have a fake massive ego in place to hide the true self which is fragile and cannot be exposed. They have little empathy and even if they show some that too is for self serving aims. Do Not Ever Trust a narcissist.
