We need to clone him.
Us having a subconscious feeding us thoughts,memories, etc doesn't negate the fact that we evaluate these thoughts and memories and use them in our thinking. If Sam doesn't think that he directs and is in control of this process, then he clearly can't know that his "theories" are true.

Perusing the comments below reveals one striking thing about Harris, his
Fan Boys, and Determinists in general:
They argue, debate, insult, name-call, and throw logical fallacies left
and right, but in the end, not ONE (including Harris himself) ever
offers one shred of evidence to support the assertion that "You do not
have free will."
And just like a megachurch full of Creationists (who also require no
evidence) … Determinists swallow it hook, line, and sinker.

In a multiverse cosmos in which we are actually beings that exist traveling through a 5 dimensional space, free will and predestination are the same thing.
3 dimensions for space.
1 dimension for the time you remember (the things you remember choosing).
1 dimension for the time you don't remember (the things you don't remember choosing).
You are a plinko chip, the point at which you were dropped determines which peg you hit next… you choose your path down the board, all paths are available, all paths are fixed. 😀
Free will is an illusion. Predestination is too.
I can't help myself staring at the painting behind Sam.
Sam Is saying there is no such thing as Justice, he has made an error in his thinking somewhere.
Arguments crafted against free will only serve to PROVE that free will exists.
Without free will, everything you say and do was set in motion at the Big Bang.
No rationality required (or allowed).
I had similar spiritual experiences on MDMA and balloons. I couldn't get past this idea of how Ironic everything was; how meaningful these particular experiences were yet how meaningless they were and so on.
On a number of occasions I had this epiphany reach me like the eye of God showed me the E=mc2 to the Universe.
Maybe it's all Irony. God, Nature, The Force, all of it, is just Irony. Maybe Irony is a naturally occurring force that binds the universe together.
But then again, I could have just been off my fucking rocker. Who can tell?
