Does this guy pretend or in any way think is is God? I hear some of you fools calling him Lord Hawkins. I read His book letting go, which without including the spiritual. He basically takes well established psychological principles and dresses them with more meaning. No complaints from me. The book is excellent and will help anyone looking for psychological help. If however, he is claiming to be God I will stop with that book. i dont even like that he i commenting on Christ and Budda as if he actually knows this stuff. He could just say they were enlightened?

The Buddha taught very profound things concerning compassion. However, for the Christian, Jesus is compassion in the flesh. The Buddha taught many beautiful things about mercy. But again, Jesus is the mercy of God incarnate. The Christian doesn't believe in Jesus because of what Jesus taught. We believe in Him because because we believe what He proclaimed Himself to be: Life, light, resurrection, the way, truth… We worship a Person, not a teaching or a religion for that matter. Buddhism is for me, the most profound human philosophical system. However, philosophy can only take you so far.

Too bad David Hawkins, as intelligent as he is, doesn't realize that Jesus is purely Allegory. Jesus never lived.
Jesus is allegory for the SUN and is a fabrication of Rome and "Religious" men.
