I love this man everything that he speaks is the truth its liberating to my mind his words are opening up the gates of spiritual awakening I feel like this man is god and I am hearing an angel

Gurus etc can be rather meh but damn Tolle is crushing it. He really delivers that real info, science, basically, and not just pointers and stuff you need to hear etc (not that that is useless).

"become aware of the now" ?
In that one statement is created the doer and the goal. All goals are pursued by that which keeps you out of "the now"
It is the mind. This mind continually creates, sustains and defends this idea of a doer, a goal, and a "now"
Find the doer. Where is this "self" which can "become"
Is it in your big toe?
Is it in the pimple on the end of your knee?
Is it even in the mind?
Each step toward some "now" is a step away from awareness.
And "you" do not HAVE awareness. you ARE awareness.
And if you ARE awareness, where is there to go?
OMG! This is the worst sound I've ever heard. For real people need to pay people or learn how to do it properly!!!!
It sounds like Eckhart is advocating for trusting everybody, and accepting them for who they are. What do you say to someone who's being abused by another? Is the victim supposed to accept that? I like Eckhart Tolle, but often, when you subject his philosophies to the rigors of the real world, they fall apart.
I love Eckhart's voice. It's so soothing and unique.

So here is the thing I spent a whole day listing to this guy and here is my conclusion. He is not a whole human. He is special and part of a small percentage of people. However by having to much being he has lost his human side. An example of the other side of the spectrum would be warren buffet who is to human with no being. Basically it's like he is stoned all the time. He even has the stoner laugh which I enjoy. However I think for 95% of people this would be a very destructive and unhealthy thing to Perdue. But he is very pleasant to listen to. Eckart did I find my power in this statement?
