I do like his statement that a relationship brings us into now consciousness..it opens up our wounds, that's for sure. I just had a year long relationship afte 16 years of none that opened me up to healing, however my partner was not ready to open herself up quite yet.. the relationship brought many gifts and showed me where I needed to heal. one of the things I learned was that its very important to listen to the other and… to give them space. also listen to the unspeakable. watch the body language, the patterns, listening and being in the here and now helps a lot as we let go of old pain, relationships etc and concentrate on the now..
Fear has always been at the center of my pain. My father and mother beat me into submission from four to seventeen. The men I had deep relationships with were a way of me fixing the dysfunctional relationship my relationship with my father. That's why I kept repeating history different people same result. You are unbelievably brilliant.
