The video introduces you to the basic techniques of meditation as recommended by one of the best known and most respected spiritual leaders of our times — His Holiness The Dalai Lama. Though drawing upon Buddhist philosophy the medication is a secular one that anyone can follow. It offers a short introduction as to how we can all be happy and move beyond the inevitable suffering of the human condition, our personal anxieties and struggles.

His Holiness The Dalai Lama is regarded by the millions of followers as an incarnation of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha aspect for compassion. The practises and teachings on this video teach us how we can cultivate altruism and compassion so that it brings us personal contentment and create a peaceful world. The talk was given to an audience of Indians and Westerners in Dharamsala some years ago.

Funny ad before video was advertising new technology that uses the mapped
brainwaves of the buddhist monks in their deepest states of meditation
converted to audio so we can all benefit. wow really? btw their trying to
make money off of this . it is pathetic

Mish Shoghlak says:

It’s intersting how people can’t see how ridiculus they look like when they
do that crap and worse they really think they are making progress!!. If any
thing this shows the spiritual state of modern time, people could reject
monotheistic religion because they have technology, but the majority of
them still don’t find peace in science, and that’s why they follow the
delusion of chinese meditation!
