► About Eckhart Tolle: born Ulrich Leonard Tölle on February 16, 1948) is a German-born resident of Canada best known as the author of The Power of Now and A New Earth: Awakening to your Life’s Purpose. In 2008, a New York Times writer called Tolle “the most popular spiritual author in the United States”. In 2011, he was listed by Watkins Review as the most spiritually influential person in the world. Tolle is not identified with any particular religion, but he has been influenced by a wide range of spiritual works.

Thank you sir. At 41, I am yet to be in the present. This I intend to change. A chronic overthinker doesn't change overnight, but I'm on a new journey.
This guy speaks a lot of truth.
However I have a problem with the idea of skipping dealing with one's thoughts to go on into preception, as thought patterns remain unaknowledged and unrepaired and continue to activate the same emotions.
A wiser intermediate step would be to: be in the present then observe and bring into present the problematic thoughts, acknowledging that you or a part of you create them. Then trying to understand why. The tricky part is doing that without activating the emotional reactions as that would impede awareness and the whole process.
The kingdom of God is within You. You will never be alone!!
