Much of what Eckhart says is useful but he says that understanding who you really are brings about a peaceful state of being – How does he reconcile this peaceful way of being with his meat eating and animals dying horrendous deaths in slaughterhouses and living in cruel factory farms.

Wat me opvalt aan non-dualisten is dat ze veel gedachten hebben over het leven en hoe je een soort van eeuwigheid kan bereiken.
Wat hetzelfde is als het zijn van jouw gedachten omdat dit jouw beeld van de realiteit bepaald.
Wanneer je werkelijk non-dualistisch bent dan heb je geen mening of overtuiging omdat dit maar gedachten zijn.
Daar schiet je niets mee op want dan loopt iedereen over jou heen.
