the human mind is unprotected and vulnerable to almost any conceivable programming to the degree of even the most bizarre and extreme falsity ofwhich the classic ‘Luciferic inversion’ is a striking and currently displayed example (Le., to misidentify opposites by which good becomes classified as evil, and vice versa). – Devotional Nonduality

Adam D says:

I was thinking the same thing. Ask "of what good is your power?" But could you use it for good? It seems Hawkins is using "power" to mean worship and being followed here. And perhaps he is right that being followed doesn't change who you are. But so what? I assumed power meant the ability to influence people and make them do anything. Couldn't you use that power to make millions of people willingly donate to charity or feed hungry people? Or provide basic income for the world? Imagine if Dr. Hawkins had taken the deal, (assuming it's real), could he have used that ability to provide even more positive influence on humanity than he already has?

Pedro Zaragoza says:

People are attracted to having power over others because they assume they must "get" to sustain their lives. In the enlightened state it is realized that what sustains your life is within. There is no attraction to having power over others.
