We honor the memory of a joyful and wise American-Born yogi and author whose work made the wisdom of the East easily accessible to the Western mind.
Baba Ram Dass left the body shortly before the new year. He was a contemporary of Yogaville’s Founder, Sri Swami Satchidananda. Shortly after our beloved Teacher arrived in the United States in 1966, Ram Dass—whose name then was Doctor Richard Alpert—was on his way to India to find his own guru. Less than three years later, Ram Dass published his first book, BE HERE NOW.
These sweet images and archival videos of Ram Dass and our Gurudev from shared appearances on Television and at a conference were shown at Satsang at Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville on January 25, 2020
On What year this was filmed??
I wish to thank Swami Satchitanada . He was my first guru in the 50’s and 60’s before I knew what that was. I am very grateful to him.❤️👍
Very good understanding.Thanks.

im realizing now more how creatively Swami Satchidananda thinks…he's so unique
Bill Boggs is a wonderful interviewer here. His genuine curiosity and desire to understand Ram Dass shine through.
I wish life was still like this
Gem of a video. Young Ram speaks to me more even though he's always saying the same thing, maybe because I am still young.
" I can say is that as long as you are searching for happiness, you will remain unhappy.”The greatest nation in the world is IMAGINATION !
Amazing interview! The host asks the right questions and Ram Dass answers in kind😌
Thank you 🙏
Every new ram dass video brings so much joy to my heart. Jai gurudev.
