I think the the cherry on this entire cake of stupidity is when his colleague said "You should've said 'the lot'".
The pizza joke was good, but the lady ruined it when she said "one with the lot" because that doesn't make any sense, clearly she didn't get the joke either…

The gag was "one with everything" this is a play on words because the Dalai Lama is said to be "one with everything" in spirit. So saying "one with the lot" wouldn't work because when would you ever say "Oh the Dalai Lama's on with the lot"
1. Why is the Dalai Lama stupid for having the joke interpreted…English isn't his first language
2. The awkwardness was pretty funny

everybody thinks the dalai lama is clever. He is just very stupid. He does not understand the joke. He does not even understand it's a joke. If the journalist tries to explain ..'can you make me one…with everything', the dalai lama does not see the connection with the joke. He thinks it's a direct question. And he sais 'That's utterly impossible'. Because he does not have a clue about what's tyhe talking is about. Thats the joke!
