Ram Dass first went to India in 1967. He was still Dr. Richard Alpert, a prominent Harvard psychologist and psychedelic pioneer with Dr. Timothy Leary. He continued his psychedelic research until that fateful Eastern trip in 1967 when he traveled to India. In India, he met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, affectionately known as Maharajji, who gave Ram Dass his name, which means “servant of God.” Everything changed then – his intense dharmic life started, and he became a pivotal influence on a culture that has reverberated with the words “Be Here Now” ever since. Ram Dass’ spirit has been a guiding light for three generations, carrying along millions on the journey, helping to free them from their bonds as he works through his own.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I needed to hear this, I keep fasting and praying still no break threw. I feel like a failure. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions (Lupus) and (heart disease) I’ve been struggling to pay bills and keep food on the table since. I’m so ashamed of my situation. I’ve been mocked and laughed at because of my circumstances. It hasn’t been easy especially as a single mother with two autistic sons both are non verbal. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I’m sick of struggling and feeling like a burden. I’m sick of crying out asking for help. My cries go on deaf ears. I want to give up on life. But my faith in God is too strong. I still have faith God will change my living situation. Even though I’m facing homelessness this month with two young children. I will continue to keep FAITH. FAITH OVER FEAR!
