In this week’s episode of The Chris Cuomo Project, Deepak Chopra, M.D. (founder, The Chopra Foundation, and co-author, “Living in the Light”) joins Chris for an extensive conversation about why joy must be one’s measure of wellbeing and success, how he’s come to believe humans are an insane species and modern culture is at the peak of its insanity, why everybody in the world is a narcissist, how the world would be better if politicians expressed a sense of humor, why artists are the conscience of society, and much more.

#RHCP says:

Look @ the traps on Cuomo. Massive… Yeah and that Deepak dude is really smart.

Doug says:

Humanity needs an updated language regarding Tradition and Family Values that 90+% of the current
population can agree on. In Populist moments, people need the social contract to match current concerns.

Another great discussion, Chris, thank you. Gets me thinking.

Elevating Hip Hop poetry sounds good — connecting the Classes, if only on the left.
Also good: connecting left and right. It starts by respecting the things that matter most
to those that don't agree with you. Communicate, and get to the simple things; and then
to those that are most important. Often that can look like dignity, in various forms, on one
side, and security (economic, and physical especially) on the other. And peace, in the end,
for all.

Jacinta Ryan says:

There's lots of negative ego in this world but that's their journey. It's how we the individual deal with it.

Jacinta Ryan says:

Chris, these type of people clearly bring you joy. More would be good!

Jacinta Ryan says:

As a generalisation he speaks truth however I believe there's more good than bad. Perhaps the good just haven't built the "muscle" the bad have built. Life is a dream (nightmare at times) but one needs to make the time to think and express all the good qualities.

Riverbank News says:

Megyn Kelly is attacking your character on her podcast. I guess she's perfect. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Lori White says:

Hope to see Deepak Chopra on your show more often.

Marty says:

Wow that was unexpected! Didn’t know him and I was so into this interview. Your guests are always interesting.

Madam Villalobos says:

This is EVERYTHING!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Max Starling says:

Wow!! Dr. Deepak Chopra's conversation with you, Chris, was wonderful and very insightful. Really made me think about where I am in stage of life. Dr. Chopra's views on life is simple but crucial in our well being.
