About Eckhart:
Eckhart Tolle is widely recognized as one of the most inspiring and visionary spiritual teachers in the world today. With his international bestsellers, The Power of Now and A New Earth—translated into more than 50 languages—he has introduced millions to the joy and freedom of living life in the present moment. The New York Times has described him as “the most popular spiritual author in the United States,” and in 2011, Watkins Review (now Watkins Mind Body Spirit) named him “the most spiritually influential person in the world.”
Eckhart’s profound yet simple teachings have helped countless people around the globe experience a state of vibrantly alive inner peace in their daily lives. His teachings focus on the significance and power of Presence, the awakened state of consciousness, which transcends ego and discursive thinking. Eckhart sees this awakening as the essential next step in human evolution.
I deeply appreciate all of this…when I started listening to The Power of Now, I was still in an unconscious state…but it made so much sense to me. I've been there in terms of identifying with thought forms, but now I feel so much freedom and bliss.
That is me. And wonder how this habit started.
In order to speak of what is true, real, or valid, one must start with now, with what is. In fact, the word is means, present, existing, or having being. This is irrefutable. So-called time would be when it is not now, hence all that appears to come forth on the basis of time is not, it’s not reality.
The “one” identified with thought would be a thought itself. Now or What Is, (not the words) is already present fact. A so-called personal self, a pseudo identity has no chance of arriving at the now, waking up, living more in the now, being more present, etc. Now, the Present is already present as all the Presence there is.
The depth of life is frighteningly deep and doesnt occur in stages but in one lumpsum❤❤🎉🎉 my few words
BEHIND ANGER
Where there is anger, there is desire and attachment. Pain also comes from obstructed desires.
This video is just a brilliant gift to anyone struggling with identity and trying to live a fruitful life..I am so so grateful to Eckhart what a blessing he is to humankind…

I've saved and bookmarked this vid to start @ 15:37 because he's so adeptly summing up the cure for what ails me i.e. hitting the nail on the head. What he said got thru to me.
I know I'll soon forget the wisdom and start fretting again but I do get some peace for a short while ….
i had a remarkable experience recently, one of several lately, i was on a meditative walk on the waterfront. I was lost in some emotional irritation i could'nt shake off. Then, at the end of the hour long walk i noticed the ocean looking different somehow. I was extremely present all of a sudden. My emotional strain was still there but seemed unimportant. I spent the rest of the day and night in peace. It was beautiful. Since then, i meditate and find normal peace. Love it all!
You become what you think about and feel 🫶
My zen master resides beside me at this very present moment …my cat 🐈 Sophie she is a giver of peaceful silence. May we be more like her
Ok. I'll go to the mountains and live in a tent
So grateful for this man 🙏
I used to lose myself in performing advanced cardiac life support and teaching CPR. I would love to hear your comments on that.
At those moments I was entirely lost in the present… 🙏
The pain body is triggered by an influx of negative thoughts. Staying present and watching this play out is the challenge.
Excellent message. All humanity kids teens need to hear this. ❤
