The Dalai Lama says he cannot control his reincarnation, unlike the highest practitioners. But if the Tibetan people desire another Dalai Lama or a female Dalai Lama, they will find one. An attractive one, I guess π

We should elect a Dalai Lama as President of the USA. Aren't there special, magic rules for Dalai Lamas? It does not seem to matter where they are born, for example.

There is a female version of the dalai lama her name is jansen. She is 94 she kicked him out of Tibet. She will soon die. Her suffering I have no words that should be said. There's are none in English to describe.

I have a brain and can pick apart what you're saying . Woman can be Lama and you have a sense of humor. Obviously by being ridiculous it was a joke. You're not judging people on looks. Horrible, horrible assertion by the lama in emphasizing the physical form of a female Dalai llama! He is profoundly in error and do not think he is beyond rebuke for such a thing to put forth! He talks too much, and thinks too little on these matters. Shameful display, I'm sorry to say.
Its very possible. I think in the next 20-30 yrs we will see a female Dalai Lama.
The question is would a Lama be able to become the next Dalai Lama? Sorta like a wooly zen creature that spits while meditating.

He is a religious leader not a political figure anymore.
People must understand that he is a politician who uses the same tactics as all the others. He looks at where the public opinion of westerners is, and then attempts to appeal to them.
Hopefully the election wouldn't be rigged by the Chinese Communist Party.
