Shayam Chakraborty says:

Richness SPIRITUALLY, INTELLECTUALLY AND MATERIALLY. The Balance matters. Being Rich is not non-spiritual, what is non-spiritual is when a person becomes rich identifies herself/himself with the material richness, without understanding Richness is having three substantial aspects, and the disbalance of it is the root cause of various problems. You may have compassion, the zeal to help other, if so be Rich (in three aspects) and we've to keep this in mind, money never makes man, man makes money and love for money is a bad idea, but money is God in action, which gives you the scope to become a center of distribution in the material world. For intellectual and spiritual richness also sometimes we purchase good books of Echkart Tolle. 😉 NOTHING WRONG! IF THE PERCEPTION IS PURE!

MeIn ThisLifetime says:

in the statement, the writer describes feelings of "fluctuating" and "wanting more…" (material wealth). he also uses the word, "paths" to describe the pursuit of spirituality and of wealth. it struck me that neither of these expressions can exist in the now, in the stillness of the present moment.
just a thought…
much love!

john jay says:

Spirituality and wealth are compatible when one applies the law of detachment. The law of detachment says that in order to acquire anything in the physical universe, you have to relinquish your attachment to it. This does not mean you give up the intention to create your desire. You don't give up the intention, and you don't give up the desire. You give up your attachment to the result. Personally I can say that spirituality helps me in pursuing successfully what I love to do… and that helps actually my performance and the results, materially as well.
