Good God Eckhart are you so short of titles for your videos to come with that old hat. "Observe your thoughts" that is a 50 years old story with a 5meter blong beard.

With all due respect, Eckhart and other non-duality teachers are, inadvertently, promoting a spiritual bypass that ignores the most important biological reality in the body-mind of most, if not all, human beings today – the impact of early childhood stress from neglect and abuse on brain development. Almost everyone in Western countries were abandoned by their mothers to go back to work during critical neurological development, in the first three years of life especially. This is the root of the problem and grieving with a deeply empathetic therapist must occur as a biological stress release to bring the human being sustainably out of a chronic stress state. The truth naturally emerges from this stable state. The best information on this is from the expert Erica Komisar, a psychoanalyst who is the most important voice on this topic in the world today. Her videos are freely available on YouTube. Love

While Eckhart is providing some measure of empathetic coregulation for his students, it is most likely inadequate for most human beings, which is why non-dual teachings aren't really gaining traction in the population. As mammals, we are social creatures who need to re-establish social connection by reactivating right-brain emotional regulation. Non-dual teachings are likely unnecessary if this happens because the truth naturally emerges from a regulated state. I love Francis, and really appreciate his teachings. My guess is that, while he found his way to the truth, he isn't fully aware of the underlying issues most of humanity is dealing with. It's not his fault, this science is relatively new and that's why I am disseminating it. Love
