I’ve got no viable options left other than practicing this, but it’s worth
it. I love it when I just know, literally. There’s not even a need for an
explanation anymore, and besides it sounds kinda silly that you need a
theory/philosophy and evidence for being human.

“Yes forgiveness is indeed a challenge, and is so important in Buddhist
Method !!
I am quite sure that His Holiness knows how to forgive those who murder
innocent people.. It is extremely challenging for me to forgive those who
brutalize, torure, mutilate, and have and continute to annilaten other
cultures. You are walking the path, while I keep slippng on my the path. I
doubt I will be able to forgive the Regime during this lifetime.

Exactly, if you go back to the original teachings, that is true buddhism.
What buddhism is today, is societies adding in their own traditions. Just
like other religions.

Marxist Myst says:

You’re talking about organized religion, and on the contrary most Buddhists
who were not born into the religion and don’t treat it like clothing do not
like Buddhist organized religion. The core aspects of Buddhism do not
revolve around torturing people.

TheAnimationProjects says:

Ofcourse modern Buddhism adopts the cultures of each individual nation,
thats the brilliant thing about buddhism. The Buddha did not want people to
be orthodox, he wanted them to be passionate as a starting point, but not
follow his every word and whim. Ajahn Chah, a very orthodox Thai Master
says that all the schools of Buddhism are like approaching a city from the
North, South, West or East – they all have the same destination. That
destination is unchanged from the one the Buddha pointed to.

TerryMacka McKenzie says:

Well perhaps you should try: Dalai Lama, Shoko Asahara, Sarin. The Dalai
Lama was accepting large sums of money from Shoko, who was responsible for
the Tokyo subway terrorist attack which involved the chemical weapon Sarin
and caused many deaths. The comments section is simply not big enough to
present them all, but there are a zillion other examples of, well, not
theories, but rather facts.

Alex Qian says:

Not trying to justify those Burmese “Buddhists” tho, the Buddhists way
over-reacted tho, most of the “Burmese Muslims(Mostly Illegal Immigrants
from Bengal) should’ve been asked to leave, or return to Bengal, not
violence.

Azronike says:

and what about the Buddhist who kill Muslims in Burma and burn their
villages ? they don’t deserve a comment or wisdom ? Buddhism is racist
beliefs

Mintchoc Nz says:
