Dr. Hawkins begins this “Conviction” July 2005 dvd by talking about the spiritual ego and how we have to constantly be aware that it wants to take credit for everything. Then he describes some general differences between the people who are below consciousness level 200 and those above 200. He notes that the kundalini energy begins to flow above level 200.
Dr. Hawkins then goes into detail about the value of collective prayer and its effect on mankind, such as occurred in 1987 at the time of the Harmonic Convergence, and in 2003, at the time of the Harmonic Concordance. He discusses the origin of life, the characteristics of the ego, the role of the experiencer, and the job of the core of the ego and lets us know why do not have to feel guilty about having an ego.
At level 200, there is a major recontextualization in which anger and rage are no longer welcome. The next major recontextualization occurs at level 500, and Dr. Hawkins describes what happens at this time. He discusses spiritual intention and its relation to outcome and how poverty, unemployment, etc., are related to the level of consciousness and not to social conditions directly.
Next, Dr. Hawkins reveals some of the challenges that arise as one starts the spiritual process and how to handle them. He addresses the changes when one moves from the linear paradigm below 500 to the nonlinear paradigm above 500, and the role of intention. The concepts of contemplation and meditation and the differences between them are discussed, along with two kinds of meditative practice and how to incorporate them into daily living. He also explains how contemplation can become a way of life and gives the steps necessary to accomplish that.
Then Dr. Hawkins discusses self-condemnation, wallowing in guilt, and how to get beyond it. He reveals the purpose of a secret, along with the purpose of this world as being the maximum karmic opportunity to maximize our level of consciousness and deal with karma. We learn how to bond with the heart of all humanity and how to bring about peace.
This “Conviction” July 2005 dvd closes with questions from the audience being answered by Dr. Hawkins.

"Am I willing to give up the satisfaction of the ego?" – This is the key! Brilliant Dr. Hawkins! Appreciate all you contributed in your time here on Earth!
Go juice yourself. 😄
Amen 🙏💜
I don't see how shame gives any juice to the ego, could someone explain his perspective on that? Shame and its lesser cousin embarrassment feel to me like they shrink life, curling inward on itself in hiding, and energetically feeling depleted rather than powered up (unlike self righteous rage). If a person went to others with their shame to feed on the attention they get for it, that might be different; but most people hide their shame, so it can't be that mechanism of other people that they get juice from.

I loved how Doc laughed at the end at all the things that have hurt him. That's so… good.

Thank you Willie 🙏
I care for you, so often you do not listen to yourself and because of this you feel depressed at least, more and more and do not even know why
Listen to yourself and follow your intuiton
I feel disturbed, she should change
We all just got through saying that we've all got programmed by traditional religion to punish yourself for the downside of your animal ego, which is called 'sin.' Therefore, there is an aversion to self-forgiveness, instead of asking for God's forgiveness. So the way you overcome it then is “I am willing to forgive myself, and I surrender my judgment about this to God.”
“Judgment is mine, sayeth the Lord.” (note – “sayeth” is an archaic english way of saying “says”). Because if I (God) gives you judgment, you're going to beat yourself up with it! That's just what you do! If I give you judgementalism, you're going to use it as a weapon to attack yourself and others. Therefore, “judgment is mine, sayeth the lord.” Don't you worry about it, I'll handle it”
You get to feel depressed and punish yourself. The aversion is to choose life, which would take you out of this. You like to be judgmental instead of surrendering to God's mercy. The negativity, the ego feeds off of it. You want to shrink and hide, you don't want to be visible. You see yourself as worthless. The way out of this is to affirm the gift of life itself.
The shame based person has a rigid view of themselves, and refuses to become more flexible. Chooses to condemn themselves rather than forgive. The person says, “well I can't forgive myself.” the answer to can't is a loaded gun. You cant? Oh yes I can! If you don't, i'm going to blow your brains out! “OK I forgive myself!”
So the gun to the temple reveals that it isn't that we can't, but that we won't. Why? Because the ego gets so much juice. These are all positions of the ego. What propagates the ego is the pleasure it gets out of all these positions.
Alright, the ego has no source of energy except the animal life energy. It doesn't have the kundalini energy. Consequently, it juices hatred, juices injustice, juices all these things, because it gets energy out of them. So this is the experiencer probe of the beginning of life. It doesn't get kundalini energy from a divine source, it only gets animal energy. And how does I get it? It gets it by juicing every ego position.
What is the person addicted to? You're addicted to the ego. What about this ego? “Do you mean to tell me you have to work through the whole ego in its whole evolution outright history?” You're not going to live that long.
Whatever you're stuck with, what you're addicted to, you only have one addiction, one stuck-ness. And that is you love the juice you get out of an ego position.
It isn't that you're juicing shame or anger or hatred, you're juicing the ego's satisfaction. And therefore the question is, am I willing to give up the satisfaction that I'm extracting and juicing out of this position? One of the hardest ones is being the victim. Anybody who does therapy knows, if you've got a chronic victim in the office, boy they are tough! I mean, they just love the injustice collecting and being the victim.
All of us, within about 2 seconds, can think of at least half a dozen things that we are the victim of. Being born a human, that is the big starter, isn't it? Bunions, ulcers, dropsy, weak eyes. I've got to wear glasses, I'm near sighted.
If I gave you the litany of all I've been through in this lifetime, I could wallow in self-pity, you know what I'm saying? Astigmatism, near-sightedness, skinny ectomorph, not allowed on the team because your bones aren't strong enough. And it goes down from there! Migraine headaches, duodenal ulcer, pancreatitis. Right now I have osteoporosis and graves disease. I puffed up all over from heart failure. I mean I can't even remember them all – diverticulitis.
Alright. Judgementalism, negativity, so we say “well I don't like this.” But you do! Because your ego juices it, because that's its only source of energy. Here people are very rigid, its very hard to get people to forgive themselves. I like the 12-step groups, because what Bill Wilson taught is that what is required about the past is a decent regret.
Don't go into an ego display of wallowing in sack-cloth and ashes, and going on your knees all the way to the cathedral with the hair short, flagellating yourself and eating dirt and dust in the meantime. What is this world, a theater or something like that?
Where can i get the full version?
“Almighty and ever-living God: We ask to be Thy servant, O’Lord, and to be a vehicle of Divine Love, a channel of Thy Will. We ask for direction and Divine assistance, and we surrender all personal will through devotion to Thy Truth. We dedicate our life to Thy service. Help us to choose love and peace above all other options, and to surrender all of our judgements to Thee, that we might have unconditional love and compassion for all of life in all of its expressions and surrender our very life to Thee at all times in all places.
Gloria in Excelsis Deo, now and forever, Amen.” 🙏
