Willpower in meditation is putting the lid on a boiling kettle. Forcing yourself to be still won't work. Anything could set you off in explosion.

When you listen to something spiritual, there is something in you that wants to listen. It's not conceptual willpower. It's from deeper energy level, from what you already knew.
The truth is always RECOGNIZED. The truth is drawn out to the surface to be recognized.

Power (fierceness) VS Force (will power).
No, a "me" can not will itself into seeing through the illusion of "me".
I had no more willpower left in me when I had my awakening.
Why is that? Because only from a low state of mind, you can believe in the unreal, and only when you're maybe suicidal, you will ask God for answers and obviously, you will get those answers, but your human senses cannot comprehend how is that possible.
I've always been a super realist guy, but since 27/09/2016, my reality changed completely. I started seeing what life truly is about.
And I know this for sure: A real awakening stands between schizophrenia and sanity.
The pain of regret is greater than the pain of discipline.

I've had many fleeting moments of being "awake", in which I've transcended my ego and experienced a profound sense of peace. However, if I try to hold on to it or understand it, I revert back to my old thinking habits. This is the obstacle that stands in my way, but I'm not sure if willpower is how I maintain this state or if it's a hindrance.
Without expression there is no substance to life…
