“The very purpose of our lives is joyfulness”. Our Happiness depends on
hope”. His wisdom is so uplifting and hearing him in 2009 has deeply
ffected my direction and purpose in life. I am a “dalai Lama” fan! May he
live well for many more years to share his light and love.

precious tange says:

It is a personal thing my friend, “His Holiness” doesn’t read this or need
my admiration. When I hold someone in high regard I like to express it with
the way I refer to them, do not worry to much about it, it is not harming
anyone or causing anyone anguish, focus your mind on more important issues
🙂

EmcSqre2 says:

i agree w/ you. 🙂

Arpy sZ says:

im sure he says a lot of important knowledge, but i can’t understamd his
english speaking

Gen says:

Creating a cult of personality around a normal man is very dangerous…
Mein Fuhrer, Dear Leader, Great Leader, His Holiness, what’s the difference?

Haiyati Lin says:

I find HH 14th Dalai Lama’s presence, energy, voice, and message to be
soothing, like a balm for my spirit. He doesn’t just speak his message, but
illustrates, by example, in the way that he lives, and communicates.

Brian M says:

did Jack Johnson preform before this

precious tange says:

YYes education that enforces our ignorance is very damaging. I was taught
to read and write at school and to get qualifications, not once was I
taught the benefit of loving kindness or why as a society we we should look
after our elderly. I was taught to think of myself alone and to achieve
just for myself, now I have to be retaught in the proper way,the way that
will bring happiness to myself and society.

precious tange says:

WHY DOES IT MATTER? 🙂

HeresToYourHealth100 says:

Well said. I believe that that is a very possible future. In my estimation,
humanity is getting closer and becoming more kind. Thanks for your comment.
🙂

Vasco Nunes says:

Thank you.

MandalaOfThe7 says:

I find it astonishing that the instant I would find a reason to argue with
any of the ethics in which the Dalai Lama teaches, The very though of doing
so in the sense of the mind would be in violation of another great teaching
of his own. When one defies logic, He or She is cheating themselves of
their own inner peace and sets the mind in motion to seek out negativity.

Bryan Kale says:

Love it

Gen says:

You still haven’t given me a reason. All you’ve told me is that your
reasons are based “on knowledge and very valid reasoning”. That’s not a
reason, it’s what your reason is based on as you’ve said. How can I decide
whether I agree or disagree if I don’t know your views?

precious tange says:

the Dalai Lama is against the repression and torture of his own people at
the hands of the Chinese Government. He is a man of peace and has
constantly urged the Tibetan people not to use any form of violence in
their protests. It’s a shame that due to people’s ignorance they always
have to turn a saint into a devil.

precious tange says:

Yes we do 🙂

precious tange says:

As long as you follow the Dalai Lamas example and be free of any anger and
have peace in your heart towards people who have different views to you,
then you will be truly free my friend, this is all that matters.

Gen says:

Your point? Are you saying that it’s better for people to learn for
themselves without outside help rather than go to school?

websoull says:

I love him so much….

Bryan Kale says:

Welcome Teacher

precious tange says:

LOL

Peter S. López says:

Bless all the people. Let us also take positive action, follow our heart
and not be afraid of striving to be the best we can be.

TINUSKA404 says:

:DDD hehe velmi krasne to je…:D

precious tange says:

The more you listen the more you will understand, just be patient, it is
worth it 🙂

precious tange says:

Hi there Harry, My reasons for doing this, I feel are based on knowledge
and very valid reasoning. If you do not agree with this that is entirely up
to you. I very much believe in people being allowed to have their own
thoughts and views, this is my view. Your view is different, that’s fine as
well isn’t it? 🙂

precious tange says:

Fist of all I would urge to gain some knowledge of the Dalia Lama, hear his
talks, read some of the books he has written etc. Secondly what I say to
you is based on my experience, if you have neve tasted honey and I try to
describe the taste you wouldn’t ge tthe dirtect experience of the honey
yourself would you? It;s impossible

Piyyutim says:

smoking, ashing in cup of water, then drinking:

precious tange says:

YesI will second that.Lets be the change we want to see. Even if it means
standing out or standing alone 🙂

precious tange says:

He is a man of great wisdom, strength and compassion. He is a living
Buddha. We have amazing karma to be born during the time that a living
Buddha is teaching, it wont always be so. Even by listening even if you do
not always understand you will be getting positive imprints on your
conciousness 🙂

alwayslookingatself says:

Thank you your Holiness.

precious tange says:

I see a future where meditation is part of the school time table, I see a
future with Buddhist hospices and Buddhist universities, I see a generation
of kind children growing into kind adults who benefit society, instead of a
generation raised on violence and anger.

Peter S. López says:

I truly love the Dalai Lama ~ he has helped me as a recovered dope fiend
and drunk and most importantly as a humane being trying to love people in
my daily life. Have few some books by him. The Middle Way. I use to be a
raving Leftist, not I am calm in the center of my being. On Twitter at
@Humane_Being

Connie Senk says:

Thank you !

precious tange says:

Forget botox, joy is the best make up, compassion shines out from every
pore, the inner goodness radiates from within His Holiness (I would be
exhausted as well, as Iam not an enlightened being) :0)

OO says:

If that is your opinion so be it but the facts remain based on proof that
this man&(cult) can be considered to be terrorists by defenition of
international standards.

websoull says:

what does that mean?

precious tange says:

Bless you, thanks for yours 🙂 xxx
