Eckhart Tolle is widely recognized as one of the most original and inspiring spiritual teachers of our time. He travels and teaches throughout the world.

Eckhart is not aligned with any particular religion or tradition, but excludes none. His profound yet simple and practical teachings have helped thousands of people find inner peace, healing and greater fulfillment in their lives. At the core of his teachings lies the transformation of individual and collective human consciousness – a global spiritual awakening.

Eckhart Tolle is the author of The Power of Now, a #1 New York Times Bestseller, which has been translated into 32 languages and become one of the most influential spiritual books of our time.

In his most recent book, A New Earth, he shows how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the world.

G K says:

If our true self is consciousness, then what are we when we're unconscious. I've been knocked out before for dental surgery and in that time there was no observing 'me'. It was like I blinked and then I was conscious again but in that time, I'd had a whole bunch of teeth taken out. I'd like to think consciousness is eternal but, how can it be if it can be turned off like that? But other than that, I am finding your words very helpful to maintain a sense of peace and presence.

Yesha Zion says:

Yep. I'm dealing with something RIGHT NOW..this moment…something JUST happened..I'm shaking…gotta get thru THIS DAY.. THIS MOMENT..THIS TOO SHALL PASS…OH god😞

Peaceful Jouney says:

Don't label just identify, ex…that's what they call a sky. That's what they call a flower. That's what they call a dog.

Peaceful Jouney says:

Whenever I'm feeling depressed, I find peace in the present moment. The present moment is such a wonderful place to be.

People have lost touch with God, and get lost in these endless “searches”.

Floor7586 says:

I would trade in almost everything I have to have a conversation with Eckhart about the suffering I encounter and my life situation. Unfortunately I have have different thoughts than the person in this clip that make me suffer I think, so not complete recognition. Have been trying to trace my thoughts a lot, but still don't really understand what the core of them is. Maybe it is mostly left-loathing and hating myself…without me recognizing it.

Guman Negi says:

You have rocked my foundation!!!
Suffering since 9 years old. I was introduced to death. One by one til support structure was gone. Deep depression. I know why now. Needed you growing up could have been past this years ago.

No labels cause it hold one back from awakening. No violin because the frequency can hold you back. Wow what a revelation. Thanks e t

Emily C says:

Sometimes I feel as though I am falling down a dark, deep well. I have to remind myself to claw the sides when I'm exhausted, to hold on – to pull myself up. For me – that clawing is by coming to videos like these. It's like breaking the surface, and come back to air where I can once again breathe. Thank you.

Beautiful Eckart.

Laura Uhlig says:

Is anxiety/ depression learned ? For example if a family member has a history and you witness it as a child, do you learn how to be this way? Is learning to be anxious or depressed often confused with it being a hereditary trait? I have asked myself this for years.

Richie Lavery says:

I love how he essentially describes the practice of meditation without using the word at all.

Armonia Interna L says:

Namaste 🙏🏼

scoot0boy says:

"Pain is fuel for presence."

Jan-Martin Ulvåg says:

When you learn to suffer you will suffer no more

Parker Shelton says:

I always try to see thoughts and feelings as the same, and the source from which they arise is unknown. We don’t know where thoughts come from and we have so many daily. Suffering lies in attaching to thoughts, taking them seriously, and taking them personally. The same can be said of feelings, which are best viewed as thoughts had in the body, not the mind.

Overall, take them less seriously, let go, continue on with your planned daily activities, avoid nothing, and do whatever you want to do, regardless of any negative thoughts or sensations.

This has helped me overcome anxiety, panic disorder, ocd, and other issues. Also I learned a lot from Alan watts, dr Claire Weekes, and the anxious truth podcast/YouTube channel.
