Hi Joe, here's the thing for me about what you are sharing with us…you say when you wanted to get in the studio and do a CD. You "got in touch with your musician friends" , You got in touch with the producer who got you into the studio. So…you had half the battle won by having your musician friends and knowing a producer who had the studio. This all costs mega bucks. I am a singer and have always wanted to do the same. At first my limited beliefs were "I'm not good enough talent wise to make a recording." As the years went by i kept at the skills of singing and got better and better. I was finally able to do my first show. I feel i am NOW good enough so… i have released THAT old belief. Here's the thing…i don't know any musicians to get together and i sure don't know any producer to get me into a studio. See the difference between how much easier it was for you to get what you wanted? Things aren't always as accessible to us which is WHY we don't always get what we want so easily.
