I considered Dr. Wayne Dyer to be a friend and mentor in the last five years before his death. He ran a multi-million dollar business with one administrative assistant and one editor for over 30 years. His life was incredible and his journey on this planet is worthy of study (in my opinion, that is).
I have read 13 of his works of non-fiction, and I’m continuing to read those that I have not yet completed. When I first started researching this, I was of the mistaken impression that I had read most of his books. Sadly, to date, I’ve only read about a third of his major works. I also saw “The Shift” which was originally released as a movie titled “From Ambition to Meaning.”

You'll be an alcoholic for the rest of your life.
But being an alcoholic isn't the problem.
The problem is being a drunk.
And the moment you set that drink down,
Then your not a drunk anymore 😉
I discovered Dr Dyer only last week, and finally I heard someone articulate the way I've thought for years about God. I fell into alcoholism and started AA 8 months ago, and spirituality is a main component for success so I've been trying to grow a relationship with the "god of my understanding". As much respect as I have for Jesus it's never made sense to me that God would put "his" finger down only in a small area of the Middle East. "He" would touch the world. A god who punishes with an eternity of torment makes no sense either, but Man using that to control others makes a lot of sense. Dr Dyer rocks.
