I’m sorry but the teachings expressed here are in danger of spiritual bypassing: “forget the mind it’s all about your spirit.” If you don’t work through your past issues, it doesn’t matter how much spiritual activity you do. There needs to be a balance between mind body heart and spirit.

Being human is ok. No need to go crazy with internalizing. Keep yourself balanced, keep it simple or you will end up more confused.
But take what you will from Tolle if if helps you. Personally i do not agree with all his views. Views, opinions, judging, feelings are an integral part of being human. Being aware is ok but to be sensible with it would be a wise.

Tolle is here opposing people who oppose people. His followers don't see the contradiction because he's taught them not to think. Periodically transcending thought is great; but it's perfectly OK to oppose toxic & dangerous people.
