The Indian government has upgraded the Dalai Lama’s security to Z-category, one of the highest levels of protection. This decision follows intelligence reports warning of potential threats. A team of 33 CRPF commandos will now provide round-the-clock security for the Tibetan spiritual leader across India. The heightened security comes as speculation grows over the Dalai Lama’s succession, raising concerns about increased pressure from China.
