Taoism is a Chinese philosophy attributed to Lao Tzu which contributed to the folk religion of the people primarily in the rural areas of China and became the official religion of the country under the Tang Dynasty. Taoism is therefore both a philosophy and a religion. Taoism teaches to embrace wonder and the joy in living gracefully with style. Lao Tzu was an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer who is known to be the founder of Taoism. He is also credited as the writer of Taoism’s most sacred text, the Tao Te Ching and his words can apply to people all over the world.

This type of Eastern advice creates a society of homogeneous, obedient sheep who are easy to control by the ruling elite.

Woods Peach says:

I fought this for so long, feeling like I needed so much control and that everything needed a reaction, that it drove me crazy. I literally had to just, "Let it go," in so many senses. Now, I live so simple that some people are almost hateful about it. I own very little material things. I eat simple and rarely go out to restaurants. My office is in a beautiful forest and I welcome my co-workers to drop in just to have a meaningful chat and a few chocolates. I have a pre-paid phone and I don't have any social media beyond YouTube. I traded my truck for a more practical little car. I only have a few genuine people in my phone contacts and I do a lot of things for others, under the radar, and unseen. I definitely offer people, and myself, more grace and forgiveness these days. My most favorite things to do are walk in the woods or sit in the sun by a creek. I have so much, from so little, by appreciating everything. One of the days when our world was on lockdown from COVID, I was at perfect peace, camping and relaxing under a bluebird sky, eating a tomato sandwich, watching the trees sway in the wind. I literally had a smile on my face even though times were troubling and sad. Life is unfair, chaotic, and can be scary, but guess what…if you have a simplified life, a relaxed mind, and calm environments, then you can allow your mind to be free to logically react to just about anything. You'll learn to panic less. However, if your mind, your life, and your spaces, are cluttered, excessive, and always needing more, then emptiness, wanting, worry, and stress will always frame the glasses that you look through. Best wishes to all. Great video and content!

I need to learn to let go and embrace the changes since nothing is permanent. Also, I should stop seeing things and others as good or bad but realizing that they exist for reasons. Thank for the video.

wyrd says:

I've been struggling recently with my relationships with people. I'm an alcoholic and I recently quit drinking, turns out when I'm sober I don't like people all that much. I definitely see people as tools to use for my own benefit. I'm trying to change, I'm trying to learn how to care about people, even tho my every instinct rebels against it. I like how he says that we should have unconditional compassion for other people. I can't imagine living like that today, but it's something for me to work towards.

Bernie Wildgust says:

Are you seriously seeking to make money from this??!!!! Totallly incomprehensible!! Listen to the message man

The Art Of Being says:

"Days go past, and days come still,
All is old and all is new,
What is well and what is ill,
You imagine and construe
Do not hope and do not fear,
Waves that leap like waves must fall;
Should they praise or should they jeer,
Look but coldly on it all."
