36.12 was very beautiful. "Ours is not the better way; ours is just another way." CYRUS the GREAT of Persia ruled under this edict 500BC. So, yes, I can imagine this! And this is the reason Persian Poetry for centuries – via Rumi and Hafez – always says: "I find LOVE in Church, Mosque and Synagogue."
See!!!!!! If this had been the way that God was taught to me as a child, I never would have become an atheist. Everything that I was taught about God from a religious perspective, to me, was contradictory, and did not make any sense. Thinking of God as someone who needs or wants for nothing, let alone from us, makes all the difference in the world for people like myself who was always so confused by God is good, but God will punish you for all eternity if you don't worship him. It made me think of God as a narcissist and vengeful and unmerciful.
God prefers a meaningful conversation with us over our obedience, dedication and praise. Although not everything he does has to make sense to us; God doesn’t owe us an explanation for any of his actions or decisions, but he doesn’t mind giving them when we ask. There is only ONE thing that is truly necessary and that is communing with our God.

THE DEVIL MASQUERADES AS AN ANGEL OF LIGHT!!!!! ALWAYS TEST THE SPIRIT ABOUT ITS IDENTITY AND FUNCTION, IN THE NAME OF JESUS!!!!
