It helps us appreciate so much. I feel like Bruce when he learned he could become batman. I feel like I'm a student a genuine student. Learning. To some day come close to mastering these things.Thank you. You guys will always be in my heart. You've helped me find another level of understanding. I've climbed somewhere I didn't think I'd be able to reach. There is so much more to it, to everything. Who is leaning on the music keyboard?
So what is love?
Love ranges from the most cruel of actions to the most benevolent – it's actually quite a redundant word – "i love doing this"
(Hate is a similar word – and similarly redundant in the absence of qualifiers)
All beings are selfish, although there is fundamentally and ultimately no separate self or selves, or soul.
Love (selfishness) tends towards nobility when the sense of self is extended to and recognized in all beings and being, and there is a comprehension that real-enough non-existent mindstream can traverse form – then 'others' are known as 'self', or as an extension of 'self'.
So understanding this, one would not want to harm 'others' by eating farmed, raped, exploited, tortured, terrified, and brutally murdered animals, or consume any animal products.
To say that 'one' has a deep love, while needlessly harming 'other' animal people, such as cows pigs chickens fish etc, is the height of hypocrisy and self deception, and self harm.
You can take all the psychedelic substances that you want, and meditate for decades, and still not realize/actualize this crucial point, furthermore, with the increased propensity to manifest as a spiritual arsehole/ignoramus
Two sides of the coin: 'inside' (as indicated by ram pointing to the cranial area) and 'outside' – both aspects are just as important as each other; and as one cultivates love (and hate) in the direction of nobility, the illusion of inner and outer 'merge', and are known as one and the same.
just started reading Be Here Now for what's mostly the first time today. Synchronistic that I'd come across this today. I discovered Be Here Now while i was tripping on acid at a Burn. I went to this camp where someone was live painting because it was quiet. And there was a meditation cushion and some books, low light in this tent with carpets and cushions. And that book was there, and as I flipped through it, it started to interact with ny trip, and it was asking me questions, and answering them. It was so cool, and it was in my trip and I was a part of it, and interacting and particpating with it, and it was just this crazy powerful moment. I bought the book when I got home, but had been waiting for the right moment to start reading it, and today was that day. Much love man. Bless

Breathtaking
As soon as the music started kicking in and Ram Dass started talking I burst into tears. Cried most of the video. Afterward, I didn't feel "done", so I re-watched it and the same thing happened. I cried. Again, and again, and again. After the sixth time or so listening to the video(I was in my bed now with the headphones on) the tears stopped and I felt open and relieved. Then I put on some space ambient music from di.fm and slept for two hours.
I feel nourished and quite present now.
Thank you for sharing this video, Dakota. It really did something for me. The combination of Ram Dass and the beautiful music by Helios really created some sort of healing effect for me.
