================
When you begin to awaken, you are not coming from such a needy place when you enter into a relationship, not looking to “lock in” so quickly. Your need is still there as a human incarnation – but you are not so identified with that need and because you are already resting in a place of love, and you can experience the sharing of love and oneness without fear.

You don’t need a person to get into that space, you are already in it.

“People look for another kind of relationship. They look for a relationship in which they can experience their soul. Where they can experience even beyond that, where they can experience what they call love.”

objectivity gate says:

Relationship yoga is the only way for me. Empathy is my vehicle.
Dare I say it. I’ve had such problems with almost everyone I’ve met because I didn’t understand why they were so selfish, but ‘I get it now. They were just addicted to feeling and attachment. It’s a survival mechanism. Coping. And we all are coping with life in our ways—-

I’m beginning to get free from it now, and the person that loves me, is grasping and struggling with insecurity and drug abuse, and the changes occurring in me….But I stay with her… even though we weren’t compatible at all.

Because after 7 years she is starting to catch it from me… she is starting to get free from her attachments, and I’ll be honest it has been so very hard at times with her hurting me, and I losing my temper at times so bad and hurting her (emotionally). And I hurt her too because I couldn’t see how to make us ‘work’ but kept insisting on it.

But somehow through studying with Ram and Watts, I’ve found a way to make it work. I was loving kindness, always waiting for her. … I believe that she was my guru. She was the teacher for me, and showed me how I was wrong about love. She didn’t even know she was teaching me. Nobody knows they are teaching, but when you “know how to listen—— everyone is the guru.”

Loving her was part of loving every thing. And I refused to let our incompatibilities ruin the empathy we showed each other in a time of loneliness in our younger selves. … I don’t know if that is relationship yoga, but I’m trying to get us both there—- I’m just trying to get us all there really. To a place of unconditional love.

Jon Doe says:

The Karma has to be balanced leaving the subtle body to account for action/karma. You shall not get out until the last cent is paid. Take a path that burns the seeds of Samskara yet to materialize. After all we are gods experiencing the self individually from one.
