Awe. Rám Dass came into my experience when I was 14 after catholic school force fed me guilt, shame and fear everyday for the prior 9 years.
My poor child mind and emotions were absolutely wrecked and the echos of all that guilt and poisonous crap are still directing my mind, mood and emotions today.
I digress, when I sobered up 11 years ago I went right back to Rám Dass as someone pointing me towards the god I was looking for as part of 12 step process.
He was, still is, a comforting loving voice.
I wish he was still here. I could use a hug.
So grateful for this video! I know that I had a power in regards to seducing women over the years and I was abusing that power for a long time. Ram Dass has helped me completely change that to becoming a being of light and love. "I am loving awareness"

I had forgotten how charismatic he was before his stroke. The sly little facial expressions showing that he was completely aware of how ridiculous the situation is. The sincerity and intelligence coupled with his wit and kindness. The host however is a brutal automaton of a person.

In my experience, you become "enlightened" when you learn to put down what no longer serves the greatest good for all involved.
