In 1977, spiritual teacher Ram Dass, along with the Neem Karoli Baba U.S. satsang, brought over a murti of Hanuman from India to America. Due to suffering a stroke in 1997, Ram Dass had had been unable to visit the Taos Hanuman Temple in New Mexico for many years. Along with a team of devoted caretakers and health professionals, Ram Dass returned to Taos in July 2019, for the consecration of the Sri Neem Karoli Baba Hanuman Mandir. The following footage was taken on the first day of the festival, during the chanting of 108 Hanuman chalisas.
