Okay, im new to this. What does it means we must renounce thought, stop thinking altogether. How can we live our everyday lives like this, with no thought, especially if you have a job or sth. Even if you feel hungry, you have to think first about the chocolate in the fridge before going to get it.

So, I just woke up or I'm still going thru it, I think. And I just feel really lonely, I don't know anyone else who is awake that I can talk to. I feel isolated. All this knowledge and no one to talk to about it. Do I just start asking family/friends if they are awake too? Can someone please tell me- what did you do?

Isnt it amazing that no one stood up to say stop teaching now but please take care of your body first？
I know they are paying a lot but arent they supposed to be spiritual ？
I realized my "Other" today. As I was mindlessly doing the laundry, with my mind on negative thoughts, my "Other" used my new found love of yoga to suddenly pull my head, neck, and shoulders from the cowardly, slumped position of defeat, to a very tall stance of the Child of a King….. effectively popping and straightening, not only my spine, but saying, "Hello! I'm listening. What were you saying? I can hear your thoughts you know?"

While I appreciate his efforts, his message and most of all how many people he has managed to reach! It does puzzle me somewhat…and not in a bad way. Why NOW are these teachings so widely spread, acted upon and practiced by such a wide demographic?
Not just one thing, I know. Oprah was a bigger in propelling him forward.
I am SO skeptical and suspicious but never has he given me any concerns.
Not being affiliated to any one religion or school is another plus point for a lot of people who will have had their fill of the traditional organised religions in the past.
Because let's be frank….he's not really teaching anything new. Perhaps it is to the newcomers to any 'spiritual ' teachngs/practice, but you don't have to go far in a lot of Buddhist teachings, for example to realise these ideas have been kicking around for at least a couple of millennium. And this is not a criticism! The way is the way. Variations of practice exist certainly between different groups, but as I've said ET is not giving us anything new, so why such ' penetration'?Why such popularity?
And to reiterate I'm not criticising…I think it's wonderful that so many normal beings have taken such an interest in waking up. I would directory say in unprecedented numbers.
N.B I have read The Power of Now and also listened to the spoken version on Audible. No more written work, but every video that comes up in watch also.

TY Eckart you should be a world leader it seems that to many of the leaders are full of ego and that is why the world is not "Progressing" School teaching children to be slaves to a system .
