This guy’s knowledge of physics is embarrassingly weak…. in debate with
real scientists he gets destroyed. I file this stuff under
pseudo-scientific foo-foo. What is really amazing is that Chopra continues
to make so much money spouting this lame fluff which is nothing more than
“new-age” psychobabble with a vernier of imprecise cosmology.
The Buddha mentioned that if you try to find how did the world start, one
will go crazy. Buddha had 72 wisdom. So with incomparable amount of
knowledge and wisdom about the world, when Buddha mentioned that, who are
we to say or find about the world and what a waste of time? The reason
being is that Buddha probably said not to found the end of the world or the
beginning that because it was a cycle. Also, that does not help to answer
the simple question of human suffering and final liberation. It does not
matter you find how did the world start if you do not know the solution or
to stop your own suffering, mental and physical. So, Buddha’s message was
“With contacts, with sensations, with perceptions and with consciousness,
about a fathom of your own world is that you should see and realize until
to the end.” He referred the world here to “a about fathom of your physical
body”.
This truly says it all…
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after
their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching
ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be
turned unto fables…” (2 Timothy 4:3-4)
A perfect summation for the multitudes of lost souls seeking guidance from
an endless array of New Age, self-styled, self-help, media-friendly gurus,
who in turn have been glowingly endorsed by many of today’s leading
Talk-Show hosts.
Satan is currently beguiling much of the religious world with such soothing
and deceptive strains as, “God is All ~ and All is One ~ so we all share
the Divine ~ and the Oneness that is God.” ~~ “There are so many ways to
God.” ~~ “All faiths are valid.” Etc., etc., etc.
(Spiritual garbage is like the mail: it just never stops coming.)
However, if Chopra, Dyer, Winfrey, Keating, Nhat Hanh, Tolle (et al) ever
declare that JESUS CHRIST IS LORD – the ONLY WAY to salvation and to the
Father in Heaven; (John 14:6) they might actually be worth listening to.
