Earlier today I was considering buying wine again. I decided against it because I know it isn't helping. My whole body wanted to relax with that wine. Later it occurred to me that the wine can't improve on me in any way or give me anything. I had understood it before intellectually but it was a deeply felt realisation. I'm grateful.
