Eckhart, I can't stop running away. I can't stop running away from reality, from life, from the present moment. Please, help me.
Please I will be very grateful if anyone can answer this question. It has been burning in my heart. If the state of being (God) is all knowing and all powerful, why doesn't it just awaken in every man. Why play the game of disguise and allow alot of people act unconsciously(suffer). In other words if God is present in every man why does it play this game of being hidden and we need to try hard to discover it. Or those it mean that the play of disguise is actually what God wants? Does he really want to be discovered? If so why, not awaken in every man since he is all powerful.

The spiritual teachers-to- be awaken early, while other aspirants struggle for years.( bagvan ramana maharshi, nisrgadata maharaj, ekart Tolle, mooji are some who had early and effortless awakening) If it is grace, then why is grace selective?

This question I asked long back to myself about Buddha. Some prodigies can skip the university while for others it's happening gradually through schooling. Doesn't matter the goal is same.
The funny thing is that Eckhart only came to my internet feed when I started awakening and I had never heard of him in my life.. Than I just pressed one of the videos that popped up and here I am listening to him for years now 😏

Awaking can happen… And then be lost without finding words to help us remember or hold on… So to speak…
In my younger years… And even now at 71… I need to go to "church"… So to speak…

I'm really glad you mentioned going back to sleep occasionally. Lately I've been struggling with the process and even wondering why go through it at all if nothing seems to change in my external reality. In fact it seems to be getting worse. What do you do if you find yourself doubting the awakening process? ❤️🙏👽
