*If you guys haven’t read “The Present” at TurhtContest•Com, you *
*definitely** should.* It’s the greatest explanation of the truth of life
I’ve found.

It presents *absolutely amazing* truths. :)

Los Angels says:

This Dyer is just jerking you off folks.

Raidenway says:

It seems a lot of people don’t have a clue what the ego is, basically is a
form of negative thinking and behaviours. Instead of been conclusive!!

Bob Wong says:

It is pronounce as “Tah-OW” not DAO.

The Tao that is pronounced as Dao is not the Tao … go figure ..

Great lesson.

Alida Epremian says:

The ego doesn’t necessarily need to be negative. A healthy ego is great. It
helps with boundaries and this can be done silently. But it gets out of
hand when it becomes argumentative and wants to defend and have the last
say and be right. Therefore, making some one else wrong. Then it begins the
judgement. But actually we don’t judge others if first we are not judging
ourselves. I actually feel this in my life today when I lost a very dear
friend. I watched her letting go of wanting to be right and have the last
word. She let go of every thing even her life. this is so amazing to me. I
too am faced with letting go. As we her friends around her who helped
caring for her in these last few weeks we were getting in each other’s way
and our egos were getting hurt and we had to let go quickly for her sake
because we all loved her. She showed us that if she can let go so can we.
This is a huge gift she left behind. By no means she was not perfect her
self. But her illness and the ruthless death took it away from her and left
this vulnerable pure being like a baby. Basically, when I realised I had
been judging myself and unable to forgive myself for not doing more and for
not saving her I also was judging my friends who also were unable to do
more. I was hard on myself and others. I couldn’t forgive myself. and when
discord began to happen between us people began mirroring this to each
other. The best way to deflate the ego at such moments is to realise how
hard I had been on myself. and forgiving myself. By saying : “I love you
I’m sorry I judged you Please forgive me and thank you for bringing this to
my attention. And that’s it. When this happens it is so healing. Then if
others still judge me or there is discord I can silently hold on to this
belief that actually I am an OK person. That’s the healthy ego. I silently
pull back from arguing or getting angry or wanting to hurt the other
person. That’s what I understand. If this makes sense!

I used to like to read comments because it afforded the opportunity to see
how other people thought about things. So often, if the video is about
Oprah, there is too much hatred of her personally. It seems to be based in
jealously, which is thinking someone has something that is rightfully
theirs. Those people don’t want to live the life of a black person born in
the early 50’s when racism was even worse than now, a child who was
sexually molested, pregnant at 14 and whose child died in infancy, was told
she shouldn’t be herself to be accepted or liked in her jobs. Jealous
people want her fame, her wealth and go through none of her life but the
success. How sad for the haters.

MJ JM says:

If everything is god is the Ego not as much god? I think letting the ego
overpower your body and heart is when you become inoperative.

Zeeshan Mahmud says:

ArtOfExpression FurWale says:

I realise the ego affords us this human experience…the moment I had this
realisation, the ego became obedient, no longer ‘my ego’, simply a tool to
experience the contrast that creates expansion xx

18.25 “Kids know what time to come in after play because of universal
knowledge”. I think it’s more to do with their own culture and what others
do around them. I really like Me Dyer but he does clutch at straws
sometimes. You could tell Oprah anything and she’d believe it but that’s
another story! Nice ideas though :)

Vice Vindiloo says:

we all have EGO its part of our nature it protect us in a way , it guide us
thru our goals and motivate us but then again it separate us from each
other and sometimes it behaves like a warrior and makes us believe that we
are alone in this and sometimes it over protect us and it suppress feelings
from our past and we start believing we are our EGO and start living into
the survival mode. were every1 is out there to harm us or take our business
or cheating partner and we believe our thoughts and universe cant help then
give us more of what we think and start blaming god for it when in
reality we manifest it. then we fall into bad habits then some go into
depression and basically not all of us but after a lifetime of arguing with
your self you start noticing that its not the world or the people around us
that we need to change is the mayham or constant noises in our heads we
need to deal with. now some gurus say that its a part of life or its a
cycle that the human race has to go thru these sacrifices we keep
repeating and going thru them over and over this EGO battle with the self
and I…eventually some of us wake up from this dream this world of
illusion that for many years we believed it and there we do not kill the
Ego but we can kinda control it and the best way to do that is by treating
ursef or your Ego like a child you embrace it yet ur always de attached to
it.

15.45 – No one know if it’s “meant to be”. I’m sure there are more misses
than hits. There were probably a thousand people who would have had sex
that day but just missed each other.

Teddy Galloway says:

I wanted him to just say it. The ego is simply the great deception. It.
Says “i don’t exist” and then says ” I am you “. It is based in fear. I
just wanted him to say it.

We cannot get to know the truth without the adversary.that is the purpose
of it. It is part of the journey. We shed it at death. That’s is the sharp
reality of truth.

Brennan Kerr Nelson says:

The world is getting better! Leave the news alone… It is propaganda any

Parameshwari Devi says:

I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THIS MOMENT, I FEEL HIS (GOD’S) PRESENT IN ME. I

LIVES INSIDE YOU AND ME, OPEN YOUR EYES WIDE AND SEE, LISTEN WITH YOUR OPEN
HEARTS” was His words….
GOD BLESS YOU ALL, LOVE YOU EVERYONE.

Oprah needs to learn that lesson about “labeling” with all of her recent

Hi Oprah, I am so glad to have this opportunity to tell you how much I
enjoy your Super Soul Sundays, and that I am a faithful Super Souler.
Thanks to you and your many wonderful guests like Wayne Dyer, and their
books, I have turned a secret passion of mine into reality. Able to read
the Old German Font or script, used ( prior to 1920) Unafraid, I venture
forward, in the hopes of becoming a famous writer of non-violent fairy
tales. Fascinating stories, from the past, with a moral to each story for
children to enjoy. Stories from the (1500s-1800s) re-written, using my own
variations and or adaptations. I believe in the wisdom of the Tao, and the
Secret Law of attraction, and therefore believe that my stories will bring
much happiness to all that read my books 🙂 Nana Riggs
