When a lion is chasing a zebra which of the two do humans root for? I would say the majority of people (especially children) are hoping the Zebra gets away. It helps prove humans are herbivores because subconsciously we are using instinct instead of our brain. If humans are truly omnivores we instinctively would not have any feelings for the zebra. Eating animal products is a learned behavior that has to be taught to us and many children begin life by rebelling because their instincts tells them it isn't right..

It's quite funny and sad to watch such comments. Animals were born before us, whether they are low life or superior,they have rights to live. We've evolved as humans hunting animals but doesn't mean we continue practicing that because our ancestors have discovered enough plant based food to survive. And no. There won't be less food if people turned veg. There is already less food because more people are demanding meat. Meat production requires tons of fresh water and crops. And forget about Qu'ran. Because Allah said he hates extra. Extra is what is done today. Animals are killed along with rise in earth's temperature due to methane. What a stupid explanation for not eating animals. Animals are lower form of life therefore no objection in eating some of the animals. They possess the protein block what our bodies needs. The most hilarious statement was if i was hungry why should not eat a human being funny guy in his view animals and humans are equal. What signs of progress animals have shown in this earth? A cow use to graze million years ago it still grazes. But human have evolved in the million years from caves to high rise building from hand made things to machinery.
